Fit models hold a sample size and keep it — garment fitting sessions live or die on consistent measurements.
Hands by TDA runs a measured fittings board for London garment technologists, designers and pattern cutters: fitting models from UK dress size 6 to 12, and men from S to L, each listed with height, bust or chest, waist and hip measurements. Every model on this board is shown in current digitals first — roll over any card to see their professional work. Fit sessions are booked hourly, weekly or as standing repeat slots with the same technologist team. Part of The Diversity Agency, London.
The board
Every profile on this fittings board carries current, honest measurements — bust or chest, waist, hips, height, dress and shoe size — because fit models are booked on numbers, not photographs. Brands fit samples to a house block and need the same body at every session; stability and articulate feedback are the whole discipline.
The board covers the size curve, not just sample size: as UK ranges have broadened, brands need blocks at several points in it. Fittings pay by the hour or half day and rebook season after season — the most predictable income in modelling — and the adjacent showroom and try-on work runs through the same board. Jenna Anne for Superdrug and Malyka for John Lewis both came off this roster.
Book a fit model through contact with your block measurements and we will shortlist against them same-day. To join: read how to become a fit model, then apply with your measurements.
